Overhead Clearance (The Rule Most People Miss)
Bouncers and slides inflate up. Low tree branches, power lines, and second-story eaves are deal-breakers. Add at least 2 feet above the stated height for safe clearance, and check the swing arc — a nylon slide brushing an oak tree wears through in one afternoon.
Power & Water Requirements
- Power: One dedicated 15-amp outlet within 100 feet, standard 3-prong. Nothing else on that circuit.
- Water (slides only): Standard garden hose spigot within 100 feet. We bring the hose.
- Generator? Available for parks and remote sites — call ahead.
Yard Surface Checklist
- Level ground. A gentle slope is fine; anything above 5° is not.
- Grass preferred. We stake into grass for free. Concrete or turf = sandbags.
- No pet waste, sharp rocks, sprinkler heads, or fire ant mounds in the setup area — the fastest way to end a party early.
- Gate access: minimum 36-inch gate opening so we can wheel the unit through.
What to Do If Your Yard Is Too Small
- Consider a driveway setup with sandbags (works great for combo units).
- Move to a local park or church lot (permits may apply).
